FAQs
What exactly is coaching, and how is it different from therapy, mentoring, or consulting?
Coaching is forward-focused. Instead of analysing your past like therapy, or giving you step-by-step advice like a consultant, coaching works from where you are now and into the future. While it can overlap with mentoring (where experience and perspective are shared) coaching is ultimately about helping you create clarity, take action, and achieve meaningful results.
My approach goes beyond short-term goals to create lasting change in the way you think, lead, and live. It’s about reshaping how you see yourself and the impact you make. This isn’t just about action steps - it’s about exploring the mindset and belief systems that shape your decisions, many of which may be hidden from view. By uncovering these blind spots, we can shift the patterns that hold you back and strengthen the ones that move you forward.
Think of it as having a trusted thought partner and sounding board who will challenge you, support you, and help you step into the version of yourself you know you’re capable of becoming.
What makes your approach different?
I combine three decades of real-world experience in advertising, healthcare, leadership and entrepreneurship with accredited coaching expertise to deliver transformation that lasts. My work goes beyond quick fixes or surface-level goals. I focus on the deeper mindset and belief systems that shape your decisions, often in ways you may not even realise. When those patterns shift, real and lasting change follows.
The equation is simple: real-world experience + mindset and belief systems work = lasting change, increased confidence, action, and clearer impact. Clients tell me this blend is what helps them break free from overthinking, lead with conviction, and create results that actually stick.
What also sets me apart is my commitment to your success beyond the session. You’ll have 24/7 access to me for support, accountability, or a sounding board whenever you need it, along with the benefit of my wider network. That means you’re never left waiting until the “next call” - I’ll be your partner, confidante, and champion as you take each step forward into your future.
How does your coaching work - what happens in a session and how often do we meet?
A coaching session is a focused, structured conversation designed to get to the heart of your challenges or goals, helping you move forward with clarity and confidence. Together we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, define the results you want, and create practical strategies that deliver both immediate progress and long-lasting change.
Sessions usually last 60–90 minutes and can be held online or in person. During the complimentary discovery session, we’ll discuss your unique needs and agree on a rhythm that works best for you. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others find once or twice a month more effective. It’s always a collaborative decision, based on your goals, pace, and schedule.
Between sessions, many clients notice fresh insights and mindset shifts, as coaching continues to shape their daily decisions and direction.
What results can I expect, and how quickly will I see changes?
Like most things in life, results depend on commitment - which is why I often say (with love): don’t do coaching unless you’re ready to do the work.
Every client’s journey is unique, and the results will vary depending on your goals and challenges. That said, many clients notice a shift from the very first session, with changes in their thinking and confidence often appearing within just a few sessions.
Over time, you’ll experience greater clarity in decision-making, more decisive action-taking, and a stronger sense of showing up as the real you in both your professional and personal life.
Coaching isn’t about quick fixes - it’s about creating change that lasts. You may have powerful lightbulb moments along the way, but the deeper transformation comes from working on your mindset, belief systems, and strategies.
This creates a solid foundation that continues to support your confidence, clarity, and results long after the coaching relationship ends.
Is your coaching suitable for anyone?
I work with leaders, entrepreneurs, senior professionals, and high achievers who are already successful in many areas of their lives, but feel they could achieve more if they weren’t held back by certain challenges. Some know they’re capable of much more but haven’t yet found the clarity to step fully into it.
Many of my clients come to me when they feel stretched too thin, stuck at a crossroads, or frustrated by overthinking. Coaching gives them the space and strategies to move forward with focus and confidence.
My coaching is designed for people who are ready to take their life, business, or career to the next level - and want the mindset, clarity, and belief systems to support that growth.
How do I get started, and is there a way to try it out first?
Getting started is simple.
I offer a complimentary Zoom call where we can talk openly about your goals, what’s challenging you, and what you’d like to achieve through coaching. It’s also your chance to ask me anything - from how the process works, to the kind of results you can expect, to practical details like pricing once you know what’s involved.
There’s no pressure and no commitment at this stage. It’s simply an opportunity to experience what coaching feels like, get clarity on whether it’s the right fit for you, and decide if you’d like to move forward with a package or programme.
Many clients say even this first conversation sparks fresh perspective and energy - and that’s the power of coaching, right from the start.
